While visiting the magical Christmas town of Leavenworth in Washington, we stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Leavenworth. The hotel is located 5 minutes away from downtown Leavenworth. This is a little further than most hotels, but it’s a beautiful place to stay. There is also a Safeway next to the hotel!

Enjoy complimentary breakfast every day, in the cozy lobby, from 6:00 am. They also pack grab-and-go breakfasts for the very early risers. This was great since our train ride back to Seattle departed in the early morning.
Rooms
The beautiful modern rooms are clean and spacious. They do not provide housekeeping unless you request it but you can get new towels every day. It’s a small hotel so you may need to go to the lobby to get the towels. There is also a heater, which is a must especially during those cold winter months.
Transportation
Leavenworth Shuttle & Taxi is the only shuttle/taxi service in Leavenworth. If you are taking the Amtrak to Leavenworth, you will arrive at Icicle Station. Once you arrive, you will see their shuttles waiting in the parking lot. They will take you to your hotel for $11 per person. Reservations are not required for your arrival at Icicle Station. However, you need to make a reservation if you need a ride from your hotel back to Icicle Station. You can either call or book your reservation online here.
The town provides free bus services which make it very convenient getting around Leavenworth without a car.
