The Royal Hawaiian, the iconic luxury oceanfront hotel, is located in the heart of Waikiki. You will find everything you need, from shopping to restaurants and souvenirs, all in close walking distance. They are located right next to Royal Hawaiian Center and across the street from International Marketplace and Waikiki Shopping Plaza.
Accommodations at The Royal Hawaiian include the Historic Wing and Mailani Tower, which provide totally different experiences. The Historic Wing, built in 1927, overlooks the resort’s gardens and courtyards. The Mailani Tower, where we stayed, has contemporary rooms with stunning ocean views and a private balcony.

The Malulani Pool, shown below, sits right outside of Mailani Tower and takes you to Waikiki Beach. The Helumoa Pool, which has waterfalls, waterslides, and cabanas, sits between The Royal Hawaiian and Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort and is available for guests of both hotels.

The Surf Lanai, famous for their Pink Palace Pancakes, is open for breakfast only.

The oceanfront Mai Tai Bar serves lunch and dinner with daily live music from 6:00-10:00 p.m.

Azure
Azure is a fine dining oceanfront restaurant that serves dinner only.

Ahaaina Luau
The Ahaaina Luau is available every Monday and Thursday from 5:30 pm. to 8:00 p.m. Check-in time is at 5:00 p.m.
Royal Hawaiian Bakery
The Royal Hawaiian Bakery is known for its Pink Snowball and banana bread muffins. You can also find their famous Pink Palace Pancake Mix and other packaged goods here.
